Many people are interested in my control setup for flying. As I extend my experience flying I’ll collect my key mappings and the equipment I’m using right here so you can follow along. As of the last article update my flight control equipment is:
Transport Helicopter Pilot Mapping
Controller: Logitech Extreme 3D Pro
Mapping:
- Fire
- Change Weapon
- 1st/3rd Person Change
- Menu Next
- Auto-Hover
- Menu Default Action / Select
- Talk on Vehicle Voice Channel
- Right Display Pannel Change
- Talk on Active Voice Channel
- Rope
- Flares
- View Zoom
I use the default axis assignments with sensitivity at around the 80% position. This is what allows the very fast changes in position.
For Collective I use the analog settings.
Pedals are controlled with stick twist on the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
